Alchemy’s knitwear is designed with the idea of health and comfort on every level. Wool is adaptable, breathable and healthy for our skin. We are using alpaca, upcycled merino wool and mohair. Each piece is custom made for you and colour as well as small details can be decided individually. Our hand-knitted ultra-soft and breathable woollen jumpers, huts, mittens and scarves feel on the skin as a loved one hugs and uplifts the body, mind, and spirit. All the jumpers are designed with movement in mind and are fantastic for everyday use, and special occasions. They will uplift every outfit and add a touch of elegance and special effect. WE USE:

1. Alpaca Wool – renowned for its exceptional softness and warmth. Alpaca wool is lighter and stronger than traditional sheep’s wool. Naturally hypoallergenic and moisture-wicking, our alpaca knitwear provides a perfect balance of comfort and durability, making it ideal for both casual and sophisticated outfits.

2. Mohair is made from the fleece of Angora goats. Mohair is prized for its smooth, silky texture and unique luster. Lightweight yet insulating, our mohair garments add a touch of elegance to any wardrobe while offering exceptional warmth and softness. Its natural sheen and strength make it a luxurious, long-lasting addition to your collection.

3. Merino Wool knitwear is crafted from ultra-fine fibers, known for their softness and breathability. Perfect for layering, merino wool regulates body temperature, keeping you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Naturally resistant to odors and moisture, it is the perfect choice for those seeking comfort and practicality without compromising on style.

CARING FOR YOUR KNITTWEAR:

The wool can bring us many benefits as long as we look after it. The best ways to look after your handmade pieces is to airing them naturally outside, steaming to keep the natural hair fresh and brushing delicately as you would your natural hair. Avoid washing your knitwear and if you do use hand wash only in lukewarm water with natural shampoo, no artificial cleaning products are advised. Let your pieces to dry flat on a towel or cotton cloth.

Price is decided individually depending on the detail and level of difficulty as well as the size of the piece.
